This beautiful shop is owned and operated by my neighbor and friend Megan! It's located in Water Valley right here in Windsor, Co She is seriously the sweetest soul and she really loves what she does. She is so excited because this year she is going to be one of the sponsors of Country Jam! The clothes in her shop lean country western, but you can definitely still find boho, chic, casual, and feminine items in the store! The shop features two of my favorite things also, A LOT of leopard print and tons of fun earrings! If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I love my earrings! She's also partial towards rust/burnt oranges and mustard yellow (no wonder we clicked so fast). I walked around the store this week and resisted the urge to buy everything that I photographed, touched, glanced at. I ended up buying a hat because you can never have enough hats (especially when it comes to planning outfits for a photoshoot) and a really fun summer tank top to add to my client closet! I took some photos of some of the items that really stood out to me. The first one being a denim mini dress. I especially like items like this because they're a staple item that can be worn almost year round, depending on your desire to layer! It would look so cute paired over a white shirt (long sleeve or short sleeve) with a belt around the waist and cowboy boots! If it gets a little chilly you can throw on a neutral colored duster jacket and go from there! But I also think it would look super cute with some leggings and booties and a hat! The next item that I photographed, I really wanted to add to my client closet in every size! It's a light lilac colored dress with an all over floral print. It is THE perfect Spring dress! I can just picture one of my Senior's wearing it and walking through a field of grass or sitting on a wooden swing hanging from a big cottonwood tree! It is so pretty! If you're following current fashion trends , you will know that swiss dots are SO in! That's why I included this next item. We all know that white is such a good neutral color to have in the closet and this dress is perfect for that! It's short but flowy and has sleeves! Perfect for the cooler Spring air and the hotter temps in the Summer as well. If I were wearing it, I would pair it with a pair of cowboy boots, a fun necklace, and a hat! Then I'd wear it to a concert, maybe even Country Jam. I regrettably did not take any photos of the absolutely adorable section that she has for little girls! There were so many cute items that I know my 8 year old would love to wear! Having this section makes it quite easy do do that matching (or at minimum, coordinated) mommy and me outfits! Trust me, if you're in Northern Colorado you're going to want to go shop in person - the prices are so reasonable and the team is always willing to offer advice and help you coordinate and outfit if need be.
